From Rebels to Rulers: Jabhat al-Nusra’s Transformations and the Politics of Islamist Rule

الملخص:
تتناول هذه الدراسة تداعيات الصراع السوري على الحركات الإسلامية، ولا سيما التحديات التي تواجهها في الانتقال من الثورة إلى السلطة ومن الحركة إلى السكون، مع الإشارة إلى تجربتي جبهة النصرة وهيئة تحرير الشام. من خلال تحليل معمّق للتجربة السورية، توظف الدراسة عدداً من نظريات الحركات الاجتماعية للكشف عن ديناميكيات وأسباب التحول الآني للثورة قبيل وأثناء وصولها لدمشق، وتستخلص عددا من الدروس الأساسية للحركات الإسلامية في التكيف مع تحديات السلطة والمعارضة والحكم. ومن خلال استكشاف التفاعل بين الأيديولوجيا والبراغماتية والقدرة المؤسسية، يقدّم البحث رؤى حول الفرص والتحديات والعقبات التي تواجه الحركات الإسلامية في سعيها لتحقيق التوازن بين مبادئها الثورية ومتطلبات الحكم والحداثة.
